Job Description

As a Security Officer - Education Patrol - Part Time in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an approachable presence for students, staff, and visitors. You will engage in routine patrols and serve as a visible resource to assist with incident response and support a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the educational location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized individuals.
  • Monitor the premises for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Complete incident and / or daily activity reports as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
