Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting to provide comprehensive services throughout the school year. This contract position is located in Hammond, IN, and offers the opportunity to work with children across a broad age range in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities : Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and related communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and educational goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication needs Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided Participate in student evaluations and multidisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications and Experience : Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology State licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Indiana Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques appropriate for children and adolescents Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
