Pregis Films is a leading producer of high-performance specialty films used in flexible packaging and other critical performance applications.

Under the direction of Quality Manager supervision oversees packaging operations along with hourly and temporary employees to ensure the production of the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, while meeting company standards for quality and performance. Adheres to customer specifications and delivery requirements, while working in accordance with Pregis policies and procedures

Overview : To ensure constant quality monitoring during production. Responsible for maintaining continuous product quality during production and guide workflow by monitoring packaging workforce's quality inspections and packaging process. Performs quality inspections at regularly prescribed intervals and documents accordingly across multiple production lines. Helps employees in the department perform their duties correctly. Helps team operate at or above designated run speeds.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform and document hourly inspections and run profile, retain samples per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Monitor production, including packaging, for defects and inaccuracies per quality standards; correct and report any non-conformities and initiate hold procedure when needed
• Regularly conduct audits to ensure quality inspections are being performed
• Work with Operations to resolve issues per QA SOP
• Communicate effectively with upcoming shift to ensure smooth handoff; keep open dialogue with staff to minimize delays
• Help to identify raw material defects, capture relevant information (lot codes, samples, etc.) and forward to Quality Manager
