American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT / X-Ray Technologist for a weekend night shift position requiring multi-modality imaging skills in an acute care hospital.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a small acute care hospital with a 16-bed emergency department and 8 inpatient bedsPerform both CT and X-ray exams for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populationsAverage daily caseload is 28 examsUtilizes Siemens equipment, PACS, Cerner, and McKesson chartingNight shift schedule : three 12-hour shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday; 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM)Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates may be required based on staffing needsHoliday coverage expectations depend on shift timing, with partial shift coverage during holidaysMulti-modality work includes both CT and X-ray procedures, including critical stroke CTA and CTA FFR for cardiac patientsPrimary responsibility is performing CT and X-ray diagnostic imaging for a diverse patient populationTeam-oriented environment with expectation to support other hospital departments as neededProfessional conduct is strictly enforced; contract may be terminated for unprofessional behavior or shift call-offsReturn staff must have at least a 3-year gap before applying for another travel assignmentMaroon or wine colored scrubs requiredNo parking fees for staffMaximum RTO is 10 days; during holidays, willingness to work one of the three holidays is requiredPre-assignment online modules are self-reported and billable\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 1 year of recent CT and X-ray technologist experience in an acute care settingExperience with Cerner requiredPreferred experience with Siemens, PACS, and McKesson systemsValid state license required if applicableMust reside at least 50 miles from the facilityMust be willing to obtain all required certifications prior to start; pending certifications acceptedCompletion of up to 8 hours of pre-assignment modules within one week of signing is preferredFirst-time travelers not accepted\n Benefits\n
