Location

Indianapolis, IN (Full-time telework permitted). Up to 75% domestic and international travel required to perform quality audits at supplier locations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop audit standards for the engineering, manufacture and supply of commercial aerospace parts according to FAA and EASA requirements for development and production of aerospace gas turbine engines.
  • Audit supplier processes and the quality of parts; ensure safety measures for production and assembly of parts comply with health, safety and environment regulations.
  • Lead 8D investigations internally and supervise supplier investigations; facilitate value stream workshops and process mapping to improve processes and methodologies.
  • Verify supplier management systems are integrated and comply with company requirements via the Engineering Supplier Integration Document (ESID).
  • Analyze and enforce changes to supplier quality and manufacturing processes to ensure HSE regulations and customer specifications are met.
  • Engage with suppliers to develop, implement, maintain, and improve audit standards, including supplier performance criteria and self-assessment tools.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 2 years of quality engineering experience in the global supply of commercial aero engine parts and systems per FAA / EASA standards; or
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as an Auditor designing, developing, and implementing quality engineering audits for suppliers of commercial aero engine components (AS 9100, AS 13100, FAA, EASA, ISO 14001).
  • Experience with Power BI; experience with BusinessMap or Kanbanize.
  • Client-facing experience with suppliers and ability to facilitate development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of audit standards.
  • Salary & Benefits

  • Salary : $113,360 per year.
