Radiology Technologist Job Details – Washington, DC

Job Title : Locum Tenens Radiology Technologist – Electrophysiology Lab

Location : Washington, DC (20010)

Employment Type : Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)

Healthcare Setting : Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital, EP Lab

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)

Shifts : 3x12-hour shifts per week (Day / Evening : 07 : 00-19 : 00 or 11 : 00-23 : 00)

Total Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2130-$2280

On Call / Weekend Requirement : None

Floating Requirement : None

Average Daily Caseload : 18 cases

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Active or pending DC Radiology Technologist license

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS

Preferred certifications : ARRT, Fluoro permit

Proficiency with Cerner charting system

Experience with Philips X-Ray, Siemens X-Ray, and GE Micropacer equipment

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Key Responsibilities in the EP Lab

Perform and assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants / explants

Monitor hemodynamics and EKG settings for both inpatient and outpatient procedures

Set up and operate specialized EP Lab equipment

Accurately document procedures and patient data using Cerner

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Participate in orientation and complete required training modules prior to start

Maintain sterile field and adhere to all safety protocols
