We are in immediate need of a Senior ERP / Project Manager - Software Selection & Implementation
Our Senior ERP Manager reports to the Director of Client Services. The Senior ERP Manager will develop strategies as well as plan and execute initiatives to build awareness and drive business growth for our Client’s consulting services. He or She works on multiple projects concurrently with subordinate managers and senior consultants to develop and recommend objectives to upper management; when necessary, involved in resolving business elevated issues.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Prescott Solutions is sourcing a Senior ERP / Project Manager – Enterprise Software Selection & Implementation on behalf of our client, a leading independent ERP agnostic consulting firm. This is a client-facing, strategic role ideal for seasoned professionals with financial or manufacturing leadership experience (e.g., CFO, Accounting, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) who now consults on ERP selection and implementation projects. This is a full-time remote position with 25% to 40% travel.
You’ll lead clients through complex ERP software financial initiatives, from evaluation to go-live, translating business needs into system requirements while guiding executive stakeholders toward successful digital transformation outcomes.
This leadership role requires a deep considerable and cumulative breadth of knowledge and understanding of financial or manufacturing ERP methodologies. The Senior ERP Manager is responsible for maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and successful on-going business process analysis and account management, including fostering follow-on opportunities and nurturing client relationships. The ideal understands and can help develop standards, procedures and management processes for the customer's business.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-disciplinary consulting teams on strategic ERP and digital transformation initiatives
Lead ERP software selection using Client’s vendor-agnostic methodology
Provides both management and technical leadership
Oversee ERP implementations ensuring alignment with business and technical goals
Advise CFOs, CIOs, and COOs on ERP strategy and risk management
Conduct business process reviews, gap analyses, and requirements gathering
Develop project plans, manage timelines, and lead change management efforts
Provide executive-level reporting and communications throughout the project lifecycle
Lead and manage evaluation & selection of new ERP system for the Enterprise to include Finance, Human Resources, Conflicts, and CRM; including both Cloud and On‐Premise providers, vendor negotiation, business case development and managing project budget and analysis
Responsible for both short‐term and long‐term financial system strategy to manage and support the Client’s core strategic applications including budgets, vendor management, & cost analysis and savings.
Support design and implementation of process changes to align with our finance transformation project.
Provide project management support for continuous improvement projects with business stakeholders, business analysts, design architects, developers, and QA testers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
5+ years in top-tier consulting (Big 4 or equivalent)
High energy, financial and technology executive leader
Proven success managing enterprise IT / ERP transformation initiatives
Strong executive presence and client-facing communication skills
Hands-on experience with software selection, implementation, and change management
PMP, Six Sigma, or advanced degree preferred
Sector experience in financial, accounting, supply chain, manufacturing, oil & gas, or government (bonus)
Qualifications
20+ years in finance or ERP consulting (CFO, Controller, Sr. Financial Consultant roles - bonus)
Led at least 2+ full-cycle ERP implementations
ERP expertise across platforms like SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite
PMP or equivalent certification preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Consulting firm experience strongly preferred

10+ years prior of relevant consulting experience, ideally in finance-focused roles (e.g., CFO, Controller, Sr. Financial Consultant), now applied to ERP strategy and consulting
Software Selection Implementation experience with Tier I or Tier II is a Plus

Develop practice methodologies, train staff, and mentor junior consultants
Collaborate with multiple teams on projects to manage concurrently, build and support global ERP projects in Global markets like the US, Canada, Latin-America, Europe, Japan, Philippines, Australia and or more
Teamed with business stakeholders and IT partners on project priorities / schedules
Successfully completed a complex 2+ year project to migrate software systems for clients' new customer service platform with improved integration points to / from Dynamics.
Managed supply chain team through the acquisition
