Responsibilities :

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions

Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need

Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals

Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care for clients

Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to guide counseling sessions

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine client needs and progress

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

Provide case management services to assist clients in accessing necessary resources and support

Skills :

Crisis intervention : Ability to effectively respond to and manage crisis situations with clients

Case management : Knowledge of case management principles and ability to assist clients in navigating resources and support systems

Addiction counseling : Familiarity with addiction treatment modalities and experience providing counseling for substance use disorders

Group therapy : Ability to facilitate therapeutic group sessions for clients with similar needs or goals

Motivational interviewing : Skillful in using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behavior change and goal attainment

Pay : $60,008.00 - $71,715.00 per year
