Duties :
- Perform MIG welding operations on various metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders, torches, and other hand tools
- Fabricate metal parts using press brake machines, cranes, and other equipment
- Conduct machining and rigging tasks as needed
- Solder and perform pipe threading as required
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications :
Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processesStrong knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and welding specificationsExperience operating press brake machines, cranes, and other fabrication equipmentFamiliarity with soldering and pipe threading techniquesKnowledge of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is a plusAttention to detail and ability to produce high-quality weldsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamHealth
