job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDegree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering 2+ years of experience in engineering consulting or a comparable mix of education and hands-on work Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Primavera P6 Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and sound judgment Able to take direction and thrive in collaborative team settings Clear and effective communicator Comfortable with field assignments and overnight travel Monday - Friday 8am-5pm - 40 hour work week Onsite in Boca Raton Occasional travel pending urgent project needs
We are looking for an Early Career Civil / Geotechnical Engineer to join the Boca Raton team for one of our Engineering Consulting clients!
Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects involving :
- Design, permitting, and construction of civil infrastructure
- Building foundations, solid waste containment systems, reservoirs, dams, levees, and other water containment and control structures
- Geotechnical subsurface investigations and geo-instrumentation installation and monitoring
- Slope stability analysis and stormwater design
- Construction quality assurance
- Preparing technical specifications, construction drawings, and detailed engineering reports
- Contributing to proposals for professional engineering and construction services
