Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Local Dry Van Drivers in Plainfield, IN . Drivers will be hauling forklifts, tow motors and their parts in 53ft dry van trailers. Compensation

  • Hourly pay rate : $28 - $31
  • Average hours weekly : 40-50

Overtime pay after 40 hours

  • Bonuses :

    • Sign-on bonus : $1,500

  • Route : Delivering anywhere within a 250 mile radius of Plainfield, IN
  • Level of Touch : No touch freight, drop & hook

    • Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have CDL A license
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
  • No felony in the past 7 years
  • No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Hiring Radius : Drivers must live within 40 miles of Plainfield, IN
