Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team in the Reno area. This role involves providing therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients regain functional abilities, improve safety, and enhance daily living skills in the home setting.

Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising OT

Assist patients in improving mobility, self-care, and daily living activities

Provide education to patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment

Document patient progress in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines

Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Current NV COTA license in good standing

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Current CPR certification

Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Home health experience preferred but not required
