The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part Time Adjunct Instructor for the History of Art & Visual Culture department to teach History of Comics and Illustration beginning in the Spring 2026 semester.

Course Details : History of Comics and Illustration will introduce first year students to the history of Comics and Illustration through lectures, discussions, projects, and assignments. The course will engage lecture, discussion, projects, activities of critical inquiry, observation, analysis, research, and writing to hone aesthetic vocabulary and communication skills, and to provide a foundation in the history of the disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Teach History of Comics and Illustration to first-year students beginning Spring 2026.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, lead discussions, assign and evaluate projects and writing assignments.
• Support a diverse classroom environment and foster cultural competency in instruction.
