Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hospital Morgue Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a PATROL_UNARMED officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and responding to security-related situations with professionalism and empathy. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to patients, visitors, and / or staff within the healthcare environment.Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances and / or exits and verifying the credentials of individuals entering the location.Support crowd management and / or visitor management as needed, especially during peak hours or special events.Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal and site standards.What We're Looking For :

Must be at least 21 years of age.Must be able to work in hospital environments, including areas such as morgues, and assist with restraining individuals as needed.Vaccination in compliance with hospital requirements is mandatory.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
