Eastern North Dakota

  • Join 14 full-time hospitalists with NP support

  • Primarily day shifts with 1 : 8 week rotation to night shift
  • Flexibility to spit time with outpatient practice, if desired
  • Schedule 7 on 7 off, Tuesday-Monday cycle
  • Full time equivalent to 24 weeks / year
  • Join 8 physicians and 2 NPs in practice
  • Hospitalists will cover Med / Surg & ICU, including ventilator co-management with intensivist, RT, and remote support from Duluth
  • Opportunity to teach and precept medical and PA students, and for future program leadership
  • Average inpatient practice volume per day : 12-15 encounters per hospitalist. Average daily census on the team : 40-60
  • Hospitalist team runs codes and rapid responses
  • No procedures required (general surgery performs central lines)

    • Northeastern Minnesota

  • BC / BE Internists and Family Practitioners welcome
  • Both daytime and dedicated nocturnist positions available
  • 7 on / 7 off shifts 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am
  • One physician and one APP with an average of 6 admissions and 6 discharges (combined) during the day shift and one physician during the night shift
  • Procedures not required
  • No home call
  • ICU coverage; including ventilator management
  • Nocturnists provide cross cover, code and rapid response, and admissions
  • Provide tele-hospitalist coverage, including admissions, for other hospitals in the Health System
  • Comprehensive benefits package offered including malpractice, relocation, and more!
  • Located an hour from Duluth and about 3 hours from the Twin Cities
