We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner in the Riverside area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life care. This person will be covering the south Riverside county areas.

Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited school of Advanced Practice Registered NursingEnd of Life Nursing Education Program (ELNEC) – to include all 8 modules must be completed within 18 months of employment with Silverado HospiceCurrent Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License within the state of employmentMSN or Doctoral Degree requiredCertification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing desiredThis role requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with all state and federal driving regulationsAssociates in roles requiring driving are responsible for maintaining a valid and active driver’s license. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsReliable transportation and willingness to drive to patient’s locationMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screeningYou may be required to work outside of your regular hours depending on business needsWhat you'll be doing :
Performs comprehensive nursing assessmentsAssesses signs and symptoms of discomfort including presence of pain and takes prompt and appropriate actionInitiates plan of care, all services provided to patients / families in all settingsProvides direct Face to Face visits to referred and existing patients contacts physician for patient updatesMaintains knowledge of state and federal regulations and JCAHO standards (if applicable)Participates in QAPI programAnticipated pay range : $80 USD - $80 USD
