Job Title : Mental Health Practitioner (ARHMS)

Location : East African Healing Services

Employment Type : Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay Rate : $20 - $25 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary :

East African Healing Services (EAHS) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to provide culturally specific Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARHMS). The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health care and a passion for supporting individuals dealing with mental health challenges. This is a great opportunity to assist clients in their mental health recovery and help improve their daily functioning through rehabilitative services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver direct rehabilitative mental health services to clients in the ARHMS program, including skill-building, coping strategies, and assistance with daily activities.
• Conduct individual and group sessions, implementing rehabilitative mental health interventions.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans based on their mental health needs and personal goals.
• Maintain detailed client documentation, including progress notes, assessments, and reports.
• Work with supervisors, case managers, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide culturally sensitive services, understanding and respecting the backgrounds of diverse clients.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in mental health.
• Follow confidentiality and ethical guidelines, in line with professional standards and EAHS policies.
