We're Hiring : Part-Time Remote AP / AR Specialist

Location : Madison, WI (On-site training, then remote) Job Type : Part-Time | Flexible Hours | Remote after training

HOURS : 15-20 Hours Per Week Industry : Commercial Construction Start Date : ASAP

We are a well-established commercial construction company based in Madison, WI, and we're looking for a Part-Time Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (AP / AR) Specialist to join us immediately. What You'll Do :

Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Track invoices, process payments, and reconcile accounts

Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve discrepancies

Assist with reporting and month-end close

Utilize accounting software and digital tools for daily tasks

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records

Requirements :

2+ years of AP / AR experience, preferably in construction or a related industry

Strong understanding of accounting principles and invoicing processes

Highly tech-savvy comfortable navigating accounting systems and cloud-based tools

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Local to Madison, WI on-site training required

Bonus :

Experience with construction-specific accounting software (e.g., Sage, Procore, QuickBooks)

Familiarity with lien waivers, project billing, or subcontractor payment processes
