Breast Imaging Radiologist

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret 3D screening and diagnostic mammograms (tomosynthesis)
  • Perform and interpret breast ultrasounds, including diagnostic and screening studies
  • Interpret breast MRIs and correlate findings with other imaging modalities
  • Perform image-guided breast procedures, including :
  • Stereotactic biopsies
  • Ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • MRI-guided biopsies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences and collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and other providers
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and communication of results
  • Contribute to practice quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging from an ACGME-accredited program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology
  • Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Proficiency in all aspects of breast imaging and interventions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a high-volume breast center or outpatient imaging setting
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred but not required
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
