A company is looking for an Animal Research Technician in Athens, GA.
Key Responsibilities
Perform animal husbandry and health care in compliance with regulations and protocols
Conduct daily health assessments and administer treatments under supervision
Assist with scientific procedures, documentation, and maintain sanitation of facilities and equipment
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
Ability to work in extreme environments and lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
Willingness to work directly with animals during various procedures
Must not have allergies to animals or livestock / feed dust
Ability to maintain an even temperament and work in a team-oriented environment
