This role provides a critical contribution to cancer care by managing and analyzing oncology data to support clinical, regulatory, and quality initiatives. The Oncology Data Specialist will ensure accurate case finding, data abstraction, and follow-up for patients diagnosed and treated with cancer, maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. The position is remote but requires residency in KY or IN. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clinical teams, ensuring data integrity and completeness while supporting improvements in patient outcomes and reporting processes. Accountabilities

• Identify and capture reportable cancer cases from multiple data sources accurately.
• Abstract relevant clinical information completely and in accordance with established guidelines.
• Obtain and verify treatment data from primary sources to ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct patient follow-up activities to maintain up-to-date records.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support oncology data reporting and improvement initiatives.
