About The Job :
We are looking for a medical coding specialist that will have thorough knowledge of anatomical and medical terminology, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. While reviewing medical records, dictation, test results, and other documentation, the coding specialist will need to ask questions and abide by standard protocols and guidelines. Ensuring coding accuracy and compliance with payer policies and federal regulations. The coding specialist will also need to clarify documentation, support claim processing, provide education to staff and providers and maintain coding knowledge. CPC coding certification is preferred.
The Shift : 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
Working Location : Onsite for the first year, with the possibility to work remote after
Hours : Works Monday through Friday
Pay : $20.27, increases with experience.

Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.
