Event Experience Manager

Tavistock Events Company (TEC) is the creative force behind some of Lake Nona's most dynamic experiences. As part of Tavistock's diverse portfolio, TEC produces more than 30 large-scale events and recurring activations annually from community festivals and concerts at Boxi Park to signature programs that showcase the vibrancy of Lake Nona as a leading destination for innovation, wellness, and entertainment.

With a focus on guest experience, creativity, and seamless execution, TEC brings people together through engaging programs that celebrate culture, community, and connection. Working collaboratively with Tavistock's hospitality, development, and marketing teams, TEC transforms ideas into memorable moments that define the Lake Nona lifestyle.

Role and Reporting

The Event Experience Manager is a key member of the Tavistock Events Company (TEC) team, supporting the planning and execution of signature events, community programs, and activations across Lake Nona and Tavistock properties. This role works closely with the Senior Events Manager to bring creative ideas to life, source and coordinate vendors, and ensure events run smoothly from concept through execution.

The Event Experience Manager will infuse creativity into existing programming, assist in developing new event concepts, and oversee on-the-ground activations with a strong emphasis on guest experience, organization, and collaboration.

Essential Job Functions

  • Event Planning & Support

Assist in the planning and coordination of community events, Boxi Park activations, and signature Lake Nona programs.

  • Contribute creative ideas for enhancing existing events and propose new experiences aligned with Tavistock values.
  • Research entertainment, activities, and trends to support innovative programming.
  • Logistics & Execution
  • Help develop event timelines, production schedules, and run of show materials.

  • Manage vendor load-in, set-up, breakdown, and on-site execution.
  • Ensure smooth day-of operations, supporting the Senior Events Manager with guest flow, logistics, and troubleshooting.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination
  • Support the sourcing and coordination of vendors, performers, and community partners.

  • Maintain strong communication with partners to ensure event deliverables are met.
  • Assist with sponsorship activation execution on event days.
  • Community Engagement & Marketing Support
  • Act as an on-site representative for Lake Nona, engaging with guests and partners.

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications to provide event details, highlights, and guest feedback.
  • Support creative collateral needs such as signage and dcor elements.
  • Requirements

    Essential Requirements

  • Flexibility to work outdoors, evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the event schedule.
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams, vendors, and guests.
  • Physical ability to manage event logistics including set-up and breakdown.
  • Essential Qualifications

  • 13 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about building community through events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn under senior leadership guidance.
