The Role

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead our global marketing strategy, build a compelling brand narrative, and drive demand for our innovative platforms. This role is central to our mission of accelerating the development of safer, more effective medicines by amplifying the value of our human-relevant data and 3D tissue models to the global scientific community.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic, science-savvy marketing leader who can translate complex scientific innovation into a clear and compelling brand story. You will be responsible for reaching key decision-makers across pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, and academic organizations, building Curi Bio’s brand presence and fueling our commercial pipeline. This position can be based at our headquarters in Seattle or operate remotely within the US.

Core Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with commercial goals to drive brand awareness, establish our scientific leadership, and generate high-quality leads.

Content & Thought Leadership : Lead a sophisticated content creation strategy across all platforms—including white papers, webinars, case studies, and scientific publications—to establish Curi Bio as an undisputed thought leader in the industry.

Product Marketing : Partner closely with R&D and Sales to develop and launch compelling, data-driven product marketing campaigns for our innovative platforms and services.

Digital Marketing : Oversee all digital marketing channels, including the company website, SEO / SEM strategy, email marketing automation, and social media presence, ensuring a cohesive and powerful online brand.

Events & Conferences : Manage the company's presence at key industry conferences, trade shows, and workshops from high-level strategy and messaging to flawless on-the-ground execution.

Data & Analytics : Define, monitor, and report on key marketing KPIs, using data to measure performance, communicate value to the executive team, and continuously optimize strategy.

Team Leadership : Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team capable of executing world-class marketing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a life science field (e.g., Biology, Bioengineering).

7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams or major functions.

Must have experience marketing complex scientific products or services to a technical audience within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences tools industry.

Demonstrated success in B2B marketing, strategic planning, demand generation, and content marketing.

Strong technical proficiency with digital marketing tools and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics).

Preferred Qualifications An MBA or advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a relevant scientific field is highly desirable.

Proven experience thriving in a fast-growing startup environment.

Expertise across both upstream (strategic, product definition) and downstream (tactical, promotional) marketing activities.

Compensation / Benefits Anticipated salary range : $130,000 to $160,000 per year, pending alignment with job qualification requirements
