Key Job Details – ICU RN Travel Assignment Location : Jersey City, NJ 07302 (New Jersey nursing jobs) Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,100 – $2,250 Patient Ratio : 1 : 1–3 for critical care; 1 : 4–6 if floated Charting System : EPIC Scrubs : Navy blue Holiday Policy : Must be available to work 2 of 3 winter holidays ICU RN Qualifications Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care ICU nursing experience Active New Jersey or Compact RN license (required at submission) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required at submission) Strong EKG interpretation skills Experience with Neuro ICU / SICU, Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring, TAVI / TAVR, insulin protocols, CVVHD / CRRT, lumbar drains, post-neurosurgery, EVD, and ventilator management Preferred : Experience with IABP / Impella / LVAD Ability to float to other critical care units within skillset First-time travel nurses accepted Every other weekend required ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU Monitor and manage patients with acute renal failure, GI surgery, CVAs, TBIs, and ventilator support Perform and interpret EKGs, manage arterial and central lines, and administer emergency medications Operate advanced ICU equipment and protocols, including CVVHD / CRRT, Swan Ganz, TAVI / TAVR, and insulin protocols Care for post-neurosurgical patients, including lumbar drains and EVDs Float to other critical care units as needed Document patient care using EPIC charting system Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your ICU nursing career in Jersey City, NJ!
