Job Description

The Facilities Carpenter will be responsible for a variety of tasks on the project site. Duties include constructing decking around trailers and using print plans to accurately measure and cut wood planks. The role also requires the ability to cut and install staircases as needed, as well as frame and build sheds for on-site storage. Carpentry work may extend to roofing, such as laying shingles on sheds, and the carpenter will also construct wooden signage to be placed around the property for location identification, including gate markers and directional signs.

Job Responsibilities :

• Carpenter will be handling multiple different tasks.
• Building Decking around trailers, knowledge to read off prints to measure and cut wood planks.
• Be able to cut and install wood stairs leading up to trailers.
• It could be tasked with framing and building a shed on site if needed for storage.
• Some roofing work laying shingles on the shed’s.
• Responsible for building the signage that will go around the property (Wooden signage that would basically signal where gates are).

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.
