Sales Specialist

The Sales Specialist is a dynamic, customer-facing role responsible for supporting the sales team through business growth and development, optimizing the sales process and delivering exceptional customer experience. This position is a valued partner in the sales team who will aid in driving revenue by expertly managing sales processes and facilitating seamless customer interactions. Sales Specialists will gain exposure to the sales function through shadowing and hands-on learning, positioning themselves for future growth within the organization.

This is an onsite role based out of our Lewisville, TX location.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Deliver comprehensive administrative support to sales staff, including :

Proactively following up on outstanding payments, return requests, and order status to ensure a seamless customer experience

Serve as a primary point of contact for portfolio customers, engaging in direct communication via phone and email with a broad buyer base, building strong relationships and understanding client needs

Shadow experienced sales professionals to deepen understanding of sales strategies and best practices

Uphold Assurant policies and guidelines, demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all interactions

Collaborate proactively with internal cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support business objectives

Distribute marketing emails, sales announcements, and NPS / CX surveys to drive engagement and awareness

Provide coverage for team members during Paid Time Off (PTO), ensuring continuity of service

Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer feedback, sales activities, priorities, projects, and buyer data

Participate in and document continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency

What are the requirements needed for this position?

3+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles preferred

Supply chain, reverse logistics, or mobile device experience is desired

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel

Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities

Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-centric mindset

Exceptional planning, organization, and time-management capabilities

Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Self-motivated, innovative, and proactive approach to work

Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as business needs dictate

Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively across diverse groups, including executives, managers, customers, and subject matter experts

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and translate it into actionable steps

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Project management or Lean Six Sigma experience (desired)

Pay Range : $54,900.00 - $92,000.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience, and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
