Products we supply and manufacturer include a vast range of computer monitor and TV mounts, TV carts, projector screens and mounts, height-adjustable desks, stand to sit desk mounts, computer cases, network cable and other miscellaneous categories. www.vivo-us.com VIVO offers a robust benefits package including free health insurance for employees, a generous paid time off package and a fun and dynamic work culture.  The Product Validation Specialist is a critical role in our new product development lifecycle, responsible for validating samples of new products and prototypes to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards, user expectations, and regulatory requirements.

This role oversees, standardizes, and continuously improves the product sample validation process, ensuring all incoming samples undergo appropriate testing aligned with business potential and market requirements.

The candidate will design, execute, and document validation activities, lead the implementation of standardized protocols, mentor junior engineers / technicians, and act as a central point of contact for validation insights, ultimately accelerating time-to-market while upholding VIVO's quality standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products not only meet rigorous technical specifications but also perform flawlessly for the end-user in real-world scenarios.

This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, an understanding of user behavior, and a passion for product quality. 1.

Technical Validation & Testing :

  • Develop and execute comprehensive validation test plans, protocols (e.g., DVT, PVT), and test cases to ensure products meet all technical, functional, and performance requirements.
  • Conduct rigorous testing for product reliability, durability, power consumption, thermal performance, and safety.
  • Identify, document, and track product defects and non-conformance issues, working with engineering teams to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

User & Usability Validation :

  • Plan and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and usability studies to evaluate the product's intended use and user experience.
  • Translate user feedback and qualitative data into actionable insights for the product and design teams.
  • Ensure the product's design and features are intuitive, accessible, and align with the target user's needs.
  • Competitive Benchmarking :

  • Research, acquire, and test competitor products to benchmark performance, features, and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain competitive analysis reports to help inform product development strategies and highlight key differentiators.
  • Documentation & Reporting :

  • Create detailed and clear validation reports, summaries, and presentations for cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of all test procedures, results, and product changes.
  • Ensure all validation activities and documentation comply with relevant industry standards and internal quality systems.
  • Team Mentorship & Training :

  • Continuously improve the capabilities and expectations of the validation team through training, mentorship, and clear guidance, reducing reliance on ad-hoc instruction.
  • This position requires 3+ years or experience in product validation, quality assurance, or a similar role.  Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related technical field are preferred.  Must have meticulous attention to detail in executing tests and documenting results.     Powered by JazzHR
