Essential Functions

1. Greets and assists customers and patrons upon entering the showroom
2. Assists customers in determining the type of equipment needed to perform desired function, and educates / instructs client on proper use of equipment
3. Prepares rental contracts and communicates terms of contracts to customers
4. Collects payments
5. Answers telephone, assists customers with questions
6. Maintains a variety of automated and manual records; enters data into computer
7. Assists in training of new staff
8. Maintains orderliness of showroom
9. Closes out cash register, counts money, completes cash sheets, makes change bag for next day, and submits money collected and documentation to the office.
10. Opens and closes business as necessary. Ensures that building is empty and secured when closing at night.
Competencies
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 1+ years customer service experience
3. General record keeping and assisting the public.

Work Environment
This jobs duties are performed at Superior Rents. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and / or move objects up to 25-50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and some Saturdays, 7 : 00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
