$145,000 - $170,000

Amentum seeks a talented and experienced Navy Validator to support the Program Executive Office, Submarines (PEO Submarines). The role involves providing analytical, research, and reporting services. Candidates should be able to work independently and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform compliance review and analysis of cybersecurity requirements. After review, send results to TEAM SUB. Independently validate cybersecurity artifacts developed by TEAM SUB Enterprise system owners and other systems under the cognizance of the Program Offices, as required by the TEAM SUB IA Manager, as part of the RMF Accreditation and Authorization process. These artifacts are uploaded to DoN Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required to obtain Secret Clearance).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience with Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E), Business IT systems, and phases of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.
• IIAT II Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) as per the Qual Standards Resp and Registration Process for NQVs_v4.0, July 2022.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 365.
• Efficient in using the latest reporting, analysis, and communication technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Information Assurance (IA) or C&A related fields.
• Proven understanding of Navy IT sites, systems, and infrastructure.
• Experience working on Navy C&A projects as an NQV.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing with personnel at all levels involved in IT operations and systems.
