Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Children's Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) - Every other weekend (Sat / Sun) Primary Unit : PICU Will float to Pediatrics, and NICU if needed for an appropriate assignment There may be additional float units based on skill set and hospital needs 2 years of PICU critical care experience required, with 1 year of cardiac experience strongly preferred. Both must be documented on skills checklist Healthcare pacemakers, Tele monitoring REQ Experience in BIPAP / CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, trachs REQ Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 19 beds on the unit BLS & PALS required; NRP preferred Charting System : EPIC Scrub color Navy Blue
