Assistant Team Lead

The Assistant Team Lead is responsible for supporting the Team Lead in staffing, sales, and operations at our Waukee IA location. This role builds and leads a friendly, service-oriented barista team, supports a high energy work pace, drives sales, increases profit, and demonstrates an engaged management style. The Assistant Team Lead exemplifies Scooter's Coffee core values.

Responsibilities of Assistant Team Leader Include, But Are Not Limited To :

• Leading & Coaching the Team
• Hold the team accountable while the Team Leader is not present
• Direct the barista station workflow and maintain quality and speed of service
• Maintain confident, positive demeanor during stressful circumstances
• Provide feedback and encouragement to employees
• Answer questions and field team member phone calls as needed
• Use good judgement to know when to contact Team Leader with emergency situations
