Field Survey Technicians (Party Chief / Instrument Operator) (Penfield)

Description

We are seeking full-time Field Survey Technicians for our Penfield, NY office. This position will report to the Director of Land Surveying and will primarily be a field role, performing control, boundary and topographic surveys.

Party Chief - Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

In charge of field survey activities, including :

• Understanding and executing scope of work for each assignment
• Providing direction and oversight of instrument operator.
• Ensuring proper field techniques, and quality checks are taking place.
• Ensuring proper safety measures are being followed.
• Provide debriefing to senior office staff after completion of assignment.
• Field reconnaissance of property evidence.
• Thorough understanding of the operation of total stations and GNSS equipment.
