LOCATION : Trenton, Missouri-Main Campus
Position Summary : The head women's basketball coach will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects required to run a successful NJCAA women's basketball program. The successful candidate will be able to work with members of Student Affairs department to develop, implement, and assess academic retention goals. The position will also help with all aspects of student athlete advising and other NJCAA eligibility / compliance requirements. This position requires working some weekends and evenings.

Academic Advisor For Athletics & Compliance
Develop a degree plan to graduation with student
Work with faculty prior to the administrative drop deadline each semester to ensure student athletes are not being dropped from courses and falling below credit hour requirements
Develop an audit packet for each team that meets NJCAA requirements
Qualifications : Education
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience
Evidence of a minimum of three years successful coaching experience required. College coaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated recruitment of quality student athletes is required. Candidates must have an understanding of NJCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of the college recruiting process and an ability to connect to coaches at the college level is essential. Experience with enrollment processes, advising, and compliance of rules and regulations at the college level is strongly preferred.
Physical Demands : When performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; must have dexterity with use of hands and shoulders; climb or balance; and talk and hear. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch. Occasionally lift and / or move up to 150 lbs. with assistance when needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. Coaches must also have the physical ability to participate in and demonstrate the sport being coached. Travel required during college sports season. Most possess a valid driver's license.
Environmental Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
