Salary : $40–$45 per hour

About the Role :

Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dietitian with experience in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities (SNF). This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents’ health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities :

Nutritional Assessments : Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents, including at admission, readmission, quarterly reviews, and annual evaluations.

Individualized Care Plans : Develop and implement personalized care plans to address each resident’s dietary needs and goals.

Team Collaboration : Actively participate in food service department meetings and interdisciplinary care plan meetings.

Supervision : Provide oversight of kitchen staff and tray line operations to ensure proper food handling, service, and quality.

Regulatory Compliance : Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations to uphold high-quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications :

Registered Dietitian with experience in long-term care / SNF settings.

Proficiency with EMR systems.

Experience : Minimum 1 year in a hospital, nursing care facility, or similar healthcare setting.

Education : Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications : RD or RD Eligible.
