If you're tired of chasing miles coast-to-coast and ready for a steady rhythm that still gets you home during the week, this regional lane out of Richmond, VA is calling your name. We're offering a strong balance of miles, money, and home time - all while keeping you close to familiar routes and consistent freight.

Our regional drivers handle dry-van freight across Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware with local pickups in Virginia. This setup gives you a predictable schedule with reliable earnings and the comfort of being home at least twice a week for resets or short breaks.

What You Can Expect

This position blends local touches with regional consistency. You'll pick up pre-loaded freight in Virginia, make deliveries across the Mid-Atlantic, and return to the Richmond area multiple times a week. Freight is 100% touch - drivers unload with an electric pallet jack and lift gate at receiver locations.

Typical shifts run 10–14 hours, and equipment is late-model and well-maintained. We keep safety and performance top-of-mind, so you can focus on the road - not repair shop delays.

Pay & Earnings

You'll earn between $1,600 and $1,900 weekly, with top drivers reaching $2,100 depending on experience, miles, and freight volume. Pay is based on verified experience and averages 1,300–1800 miles per week.

Detention, drop, and live-load pay

Paid orientation and training

Safety and performance incentives

Sign-on bonus for new drivers

Schedule & Home Time

Drivers are typically home twice each week, with two consecutive days off every weekend or at the end of the rotation. Overnight layovers are limited, and most drivers enjoy regular breaks between routes. If family time matters to you as much as miles, this balance hits the sweet spot.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL

At least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years

Minimum age 21

Clean driving record - no major violations, tickets, or accidents in the last 24 months
