  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week\n

  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 (Adults & Geriatrics)\n
  • Scrubs : Royal Blue\n
  • Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)\n
  • Orientation : Bi-weekly, 36 hours\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 3 years of recent Medical / Surgical RN experience\n
  • Active North Carolina or Compact RN license (Registered Nurse license required)\n
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS\n
  • Proficient with electronic charting systems\n
  • Experience managing a 1 : 6 patient ratio\n
  • Preferred : Previous charge nurse, community hospital, or LTAC experience\n
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions or declinations accepted)\n
  • One supervisory reference from the past year required\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med / Surg unit\n
  • Manage a patient load of up to 6 patients per shift\n
  • Perform and document comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress\n
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills including central line management, wound care, telemetry monitoring, and post-operative care\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and more)\n
  • Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed\n
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures\n
  • Participate in orientation and complete all required training modules\n
