Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 3 years experience for an evening shift assignment, requiring the ability to float within the facility and to outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

Work setting includes hospital MRI unit and potential floating to outpatient as needed

Evening shift schedule : Monday through Friday, 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM

Back up call and holiday coverage are required during the assignment

Role may involve working with varied patient populations depending on department needs

Duties include performing MRI scans and assisting with imaging procedures as assigned

Floating within the scope of practice and to outpatient settings may be required

Compliance and required documentation must be completed within specified timeline for an on-time start

Modules are completed during orientation and recorded via transcripts

Holiday coverage is required based on assignment period; specific rules apply to major holidays

No blocked scheduling is permitted

Perm or PRN staff must be away from all Piedmont facilities for at least 1 full year to return as a traveler

Return travelers must complete a successful assignment outside the system before rebooking at a new location

Locals are accepted at the same rate

Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of assignment

Scrub policy and dress code information will be provided during orientation

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years MRI technologist experience required

GA or Compact state license in hand at time of consideration (if applicable)

Must provide two supervisory references from a manager or above

First-time travelers are accepted
