District Sales Manager
The District Sales Manager will be responsible for leading teams of Account Managers and Merchandisers, developing sales strategies, and executing plans to achieve sales targets and objectives. This role will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the team. The District Sales Manager will develop and implement strategic sales plans for the territory to achieve revenue growth and market share objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales execution in local, regional, and national accounts within assigned segment and territory
- Lead sales organization to identify opportunities, establish goals and objectives and deliver on plan
- Track and report progress to ensure programs are being executed and goals are achieved
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to enhance their sales skills and capabilities
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address gaps
- Meet with and deliver sales presentations to key customers, assisting Account Managers with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals
- Build long-term, profitable relationships with key customers, communicating with them about company policies, industry insights, new product launches and promotions
- Coordinate new product launches, promotions, and merchandising initiatives to drive brand visibility and sales growth in the market
- Communicate expectations while creating an environment of accountability and continuous improvement of daily execution
Job Requirements
