Overview

Brilliant is a fully integrated, remote agency offering PR, Influencer, Social Media, Paid Media, Events & Activations and Affiliate Marketing. We are a team of nearly 30 with big brand and agency experience, focused on helping families and consumer lifestyle brands with products, brands, and services across baby and maternity, toys and games, tech, housewares, haircare and food. We provide the resources needed to get work done without a traditional office setting.

Position

Account Coordinator — Full-time. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of full-time agency experience in consumer products PR or integrated marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication :

  • Assist with drafting client updates, reports, and meeting agendas.
  • Participate in client calls and meetings, taking detailed notes.

Media Relations :

  • Support media outreach by building / updating media lists, pitching stories, and tracking coverage.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Entering and confirming product sample requests.
  • Vet and respond to inbound influencer and media inquiries.

    • Press Materials Development :

  • Assist in creating press releases, pitches, media alerts, bios, and other communications materials.

    • Research :

  • Support vendor research as needed and monitor competitor activity.

    • Reporting :

  • Familiarity with Cision, Coverage Book, Muck Rack, TV Eyes, Creator IQ, or similar platforms to pull placements and upload into client reports.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of PR agency experience in the consumer goods industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying ahead of trends.

    • Salary

    Depends on experience : $45,000-$53,000
