Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care. Administer medications, prep patients for procedures, and maintain sterile technique. Communicate with empathy and clarity to patients and families. Ensure quality and safety through proper verification, adherence to protocols, and error-free documentation. Mentor and precept team members while staying up to date on required competencies. Educate patients and families about care plans and post-procedure expectations. Key Requirements and Technology Experience : Key Skills : BLS, experience as a Registered Nurse . Education : Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred). Licenses & Certifications : RN (Single-State or Multi-State Compact), BLS, ACLS, NRP; national specialty certification preferred. Experience : 2 years of recent, direct L&D nursing in a hospital setting. Skills : Strong critical thinking, time management, effective communication, teamwork, and calmness in emergencies.
