Unit : Cardiovascular Neuro ICU (CV NEURO ICU)

End Date : February 16, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

Critical care training and clinical skills

Proficient in pressor medication management, arterial line management, and critical drip management

Strong teamwork, flexibility, and communication skills

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a 22-bed ICU setting

Operate and monitor advanced equipment : CRRT, ventilators, MTP, Hemospheres, arterial lines, Impella, IABP, CABG, EVD, and TTM

Administer and titrate critical drips and pressor medications

Assist with procedures including bronchoscopy, central venous catheter (CVC), and arterial line insertion

Document patient care using Meditech EMR

Float to ICC, TCU, and ICU units as needed

Comply with unit policies, attendance, and scheduling requirements
