LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in fixed assets accounting to join our growing finance team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our asset records and supporting month-end close and audit processes. If you are passionate about fixed assets, compliance, and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you. The role is a contract for a pharmaceutical company in Westlake, TX.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger.
• Manage all aspects of the fixed asset lifecycle : capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, and disposals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on fixed assets for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies regarding asset management.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing schedules and documentation as required.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure proper tracking and classification of capital expenditures.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Participate in system upgrades and process improvements related to fixed asset management.

Pay Details : $38.00 to $45.00 per hour
