What do you need for this Senior Cost Accountant role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field

3+ years of cost accounting experience OR

3+ years of public accounting experience with inventory clients

Advanced Excel What will you do in this Senior Cost Accountant role?

Complete monthly reconciliations related to inventory levels and work-in-process accounts.

Review expenses tied to inventory and assess production overhead charges regularly.

Track costs of components and input cost updates following management sign-off.

Prepare journal entries for inclusion in the monthly financial reporting cycle.

Support analysis of profit & loss statements and balance sheet variances on a recurring basis.

Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Production, Purchasing, Planning, and Engineering to address operational queries and drive process improvements.

Assist with financial reporting.

Track and manage work order-related costs.

Assist with rate-setting methodologies and creating bill of materials.
