CT Technologist

SUMMARY : Operates CT scanner; processes images. Prepares patient, room, equipment, supplies, and medication according to age-specific standards. Produces computerized tomographic radiographs as ordered / directed and in accordance with established practices and procedures.

Required Licensure / Certification / Registration : Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible; CT certification within 1 year

Preferred Education / Training : Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology

Preferred Experience : Minimum one (1) year dedicated CT experience; one (1) year diagnostic radiology experience

Preferred Licensure / Certification / Registration : BLS
