LER Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Pikeville, Kentucky.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : OR - Operating Room

  • 48 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel

Details :

  • 8 weeks; Night; 48 hr. / wk.
  • Surgical Nursing / Orthopedic Staff RN

    • Education + Licensure :

  • Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • RN license required. CPR required
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG required.
  • 2 years' experience required, 5 years preferred.
  • Travel Experience Required.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Pre and Post-Operative Care, i.e., general, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgical, genitourinary, etc.
  • Pain Management
  • Chest Tube Care / Insertion
  • PEG, G-tube, J-tube care
  • Traction
  • Percutaneous, Sump, Jackson Pratt, or Hemovac drainage care
  • Medication Administration
  • NIH Stroke Scale
  • KODA
  • Access Central Lines
  • Specialized IV Drips and Titration
  • IV Therapy
  • IVADD
  • Waive Testing
  • Transfusion Therapy
  • Information Management
