Position Summary : The Registered Dietitian helps to provide a nutritionally balanced and cost-efficient food services program that will meet the needs of students while maintaining compliance with all local guidelines as they relate to nutrition regulations. Utilizes technical training and government-mandated nutritional standards on food health to develop healthy

menu implementation plans. Integrally involved in the development / execution of cycle menu. Required to work in tandem with Management and individual / CAP schools administration.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelors degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field

Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) : Successful completion of internship program (ACEND), satisfactory score on an exam, plus fulfillment of continuing education requirements).

Masters degree preferred

Experience :

One (1) year experience in K12 or higher education food service

Previous experience with automated food production systems and nutrition analysis software

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc. :

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite

Food safety knowledge with ServSafe certification and food allergy knowledge with AllerTrain certification; must be obtained within 6 weeks of hire date

Possess or ability to obtain and maintain applicable additional certifications, registrations, licenses, or credentials

Possess or ability to obtain an Oklahoma Food Handlers permit

Bilingual in Spanish preferred
