Job Description

We are seeking a qualified nurse for a position in the Cardiothoracic ICU. The role requires experience with fresh hearts and familiarity with a variety of cardiovascular surgeries and conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be prepared to handle complex patient scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the CTICU.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, especially post-surgery and during critical episodes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiothoracic ICU setting.
  • Experience with fresh hearts is required.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using EPIC for patient documentation.
