Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist with active Vermont licensure and at least 1 year of home health experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one occupational therapy services in patients' homes throughout central Vermont
  • Work Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation
  • 20-week assignment in a home health setting
  • Use McKesson / Netsmart EMR with preference for candidates experienced with these systems
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Educate and support clients to help them set and achieve their personal health goals
  • Assist clients in maintaining independence and living at home
  • No requested time off is permitted for this assignment

    • Requirements

  • Active Vermont Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of home health OT experience
  • BLS / BCLS certification required
  • Experience with McKesson / Netsmart EMR preferred
