job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDemonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc. Has strong communications and interpersonal skills Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse safety procedures Forklift training and / or certification preferred Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferred Able to drive for a majority of the daily working hours Able to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walking Able to talk, hear, climb, balance, reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently Able to handle and move 50+ pounds assisted frequently Able to drive for a majority of the daily working hours Working Conditions Noise Level : Normal to loud Location : Indoor in the office or at customer sites (restaurants, wholesalers, distributors, etc.), travelling Required to wear company provided insulated freezer suit while in freezer Freezing temperatures between -10 and -20 degrees Fahrenheit Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred Has and maintains a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Minimum 1 year sit down or reach truck forklift operation experience required Able to work weekends, holidays, and afterhours as needed Maintains a positive attitude Works efficiently both independently and in a team Adapts to frequent changes in assignments and workload High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience required 2+ years of driving / delivery experience preferred
Warehouse Associate / Driver [Non-CDL]
Location : Houston, TX 77073 Shift : 8am - 5pm Pay Rate : $17- $18
Responsibilities :
- Completes door to door deliveries by driving company truck on the assigned routes
- Documents, records, and completes driver log when making deliveries
- Makes product deliveries and loads delivery trucks in a timely manner
- Picks and assembles orders as indicated on the pick list
- Stacks and organizes warehouse pallets
- Assists receiving with unloading, stocking, and inventory check in a timely manner
- Inspects received products for damage and volume accuracy and documents accordingly
- Accurately stocks inventory in the assigned warehouse location and rotates product inventory to maintain a First-IN, First-OUT (FIFO) food storage system
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and inventory
- Coordinates with salespersons to assemble urgent deliveries to customers
- Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
- Participates in the weekly warehouse meetings
- Attends semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend
- Provides logistics support for Company events and functions outside of normal working hours
- Coordinates semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend
- Other duties as required from manager / supervisor
- Obligation to answer to all management as requested
